Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and client-focused investment professional to join our Texas-based Wealth Management team. Supporting a group of Portfolio Managers overseeing approximately $4.7 billion in assets for high-net-worth families, this role will play a key part in portfolio management, client preparation and investment analysis. The successful candidate will help deliver portfolio rebalancing, investment reporting and alternative investment pre-screening while contributing to an exceptional client experience. This position offers a clear development path into an Associate Portfolio Manager or Associate Wealth Advisor role.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Support Portfolio Managers in the management of discretionary portfolios for high-net-worth clients, including portfolio rebalancing, trade preparation and implementation.
  • Prepare client meeting materials, portfolio reviews and investment reporting to support client engagement and retention.
  • Analyse the impact of investment strategy changes, assess transaction suitability and provide portfolio recommendations.
  • Pre-qualify clients for alternative investment opportunities and assist with investment research and due diligence.
  • Monitor trade activity, resolve compliance notifications and ensure adherence to investment guidelines and regulatory requirements.
  • Produce portfolio analytics, performance attribution and reporting to support investment decisions and business objectives.

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:

  • 3–5 years' experience in portfolio management, investment analysis, wealth management or a related investment function.
  • Strong knowledge of portfolio construction, trading, performance measurement and investment reporting across multiple asset classes.
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA, CFA or progress towards a CFA qualification preferred.
  • Strong analytical, organisational and communication
